Abstract<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A 39-year-old woman with a 7-year history of primary infertility and several failed treatments and\/or miscarriages of normal embryos.<\/a><\/p>\n

She attended the Juana Crespo Team to undergo a course of highly complex assisted reproduction<\/a> due to three concurrent factors: a male factor identified at home + an ovarian problem of persistent hyperstimulation caused by generalised adenohypophyseal hyperplasia + a uterine factor due to multiple fibroids.<\/p>\n

Medical history<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Undergoing treatment at another centre since 2023.<\/p>\n

She presented with an ultrasound diagnosis of fibroids in contact with the endometrial cavity, displacing it, and ovaries with multiple simple cystic formations measuring 20\u201329 mm (consistently showing signs of hyperstimulation).<\/p>\n

Previous treatments<\/strong><\/h3>\n

IVF-ICSI<\/a> with three non-biopsied embryos, two transfers<\/a> resulting in pregnancy loss and one miscarriage with a normal karyotype at week 6.<\/p>\n

Diagnosis<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At the first consultation, the high complexity of her case became apparent, due to the difficulty in stimulating an ovary with multiple cysts and endometriosis<\/a> implants, and because of her 7-year history of infertility due to a myomatous uterus, which had only resulted in one miscarriage following assisted reproduction.<\/p>\n
