Ethical channel

At Equipo Juana Crespo we are
fully committed to medicine and,
therefore, we prioritize professional
ethics in our daily activities.

Compliance with the law, our values, and our code of ethics
guide the behavior of all members of this organization.
To this end, Equipo Juana Crespo has established mechanisms
so that individuals associated with the clinic can report and have
a voice in the event of a serious violation or breach of these
principles.

The Ethics Channel is a communication channel that allows you to report
incidents that may violate good medical practices or the values of
Team Juana Crespo.

All communications made through this channel are always
confidential and anonymous, when the person concerned chooses this. Furthermore,
our Ethics Committee, made up of healthcare professionals, lawyers, and
experts in quality of care, is committed to reviewing each
communication from an independent and ethical perspective, in order to take
the necessary internal measures if required.

The Juana Crespo team firmly believes in a culture of
transparent, cross-functional communication, and therefore, all
information received will be processed based on
the following principles:
  • Respect for the autonomy and independence of the internal managers of the Ethics Committee.

  • Easy access to the Ethics Channel for any internal or external audience related to the clinic.

  • Guarantee of confidentiality regarding the reported facts and the people involved.

  • Respect for the presumption of innocence, honor, and the defense of the affected persons.

  • Possibility of Anonymity, if that is the informant's wish.

  • Principle of Good Faith and veracity when presenting a communication and in the development of all research activities.

  • Guarantee of no retaliation and protection of the good faith informant.
